Nature Club is back!
If you are aged between 8 and 13 and would like to try your hand at throwing a clay pot on a wheel and making some lovely ceramic signs to put up around the farm come and join us with ceramist www.leyla-folwell.co.uk on Saturday 25th February and Saturday 24th March.
Session 1 - 10.30 -1pm - we collect inspiration from the garden and draw our designs and will roll out the slabs of clay ready for the signs to be made in session 2.
Now each students will throw their own pot on the wheel to thir own unique design.
We will propagate plants from the greenhouse to plant up in our pot.
Session 2 - 10.30 -1pm - Now we will design and make the signs using techniques taught by Leyla based on our original drawings.
We will also plant up our pots to take away.
Don't forget to come back to the farm to see your sign in place!
We only have limited spaces and you must come to both sessions as inbetween Leyla will fire and glaze your pots in a kiln ready to plant up with succulents.
